The fourth stage of this journey starts from Latisana (UD) towards Trieste. It was the first real “autumn” stage in the climatic sense of the term. However, Trieste was only an intermediate stop to visit the beautiful coastal city and take some souvenir photos, because the journey continued crossing 2 borders, the Slovenian one and the Croatian one.<\/p>\n

A long tour de force with many climbs (and few descents) with arrival in Fiume, the Italianized name (and with a slightly Annunzian flavour) of Rijeka in Croatian land.
